Physical activity plays an important role in both physical and mental health outcomes. Utilizing a mobile health (mHealth) application framework, my work focuses on improving physical activity interventions and associated downstream health trajectories. I am particularly interested in how we can leverage technology (e.g., prevalence of smartphones, inexpensive sensors, and big data/large data analysis) to aid in disease prevention vs. more costly and invasive treatments of health disorders.
